Archiduc cafe

A place where Miles Davis has performed and where singer Arno is a regular. L'Archiduc is a legendary jazz club. Its charm lies in the art deco interior, grand piano and famous doorbell. Don't be dazzled, the atmosphere is a bit chic but always cordial. One Take is the latest project of bass player Loris Tils and is based on improvisation marked by groove and funk music with jazz accents. On Saturday L'Archiduc opens with Billie Kawande and her quintet. Her tremendous voice and stage presence combined with the influence of her African roots make every performance an experience. Jérémy Dumont began his musical career playing the violin at the age of five but nowadays showcases his talent as a pianist. A very good one it seems as Jérémy Dumont and his quartet have won multiple awards. Guitar fans can look forward to Karl Antila on Sunday. And those who fancy reggae and dub must stick around for Andy V, also known as the right hand of Dub FX.
