Place du Samedi 12A

Café Beguin cafe

Café Beguin is relatively new on the Zaterdagplein/Place du Samedi in the heart of Brussels. The food will take you on a culinary journey from Central Africa to the Mediterranean. In addition, Café Beguin is already building a solid reputation as host of live music. Multi-instrumentalist Esinam Dogbatse swears by the Ginger Mojito. The Jazzaicans introduce their audiences to the Jamaican music genre 'mento' that is known as the predecessor of ska. Not without a touch of jazz of course. On Saturday you can feast your ears on Adedeji Adetayo and his band. They create music that is rhythmically and technically sophisticated, harmonically rich, and melodically compelling.
