RAKS IN AKSI#brass #gypsy #moroccan #world

Ben De Greef: sousaphone, Fran├žois Wanlin: trumpet, Gilbert Lens: sax, Jurgen Moriau: percussion, Rik Staelens: gralla, Veronica Campos: percussion

The gralla, a Spanish double reed instrument with a sharpening loud sound, is central to the group sound. Drums, sousaphone and trumpet completes the band. Musically they elaborate on the folklore of the shawls that you can sometimes hear on the street during both Turkish and Moroccan wedding parties and the gypsy music of le Carnaval Sauvage de Bruxelles.
