For this new musical journey, Lorenzo Di Maio decides to rely on the groove and inventiveness of drummer Antoine Pierre and the deep and virtuoso playing of bassist Sam Gerstmans, musicians with whom he shares a common vision of music that is both lyrical and energetic. The trio's music is inspired by Lorenzo Di Maio's wide-ranging influences, from the blues to a certain idea of European jazz. The quartet's arrangements are masterfully crafted by Fabian Fiorini and give Di Maio's music a character that is as melodic as it is unpredictable. Enhanced by the poetry of its performers, the group unveils a repertoire of contrasting moods that creates a bridge between the acoustic purity of the strings and the electric atmospheres of the guitar.
