Brussels Jazz Orchestra
One might not expect it, but the Brussels Jazz Orchestra (BJO) is not the kind of jazz orchestra that sticks to standards. They prefer to achieve the highest level by composing original music, creating unique arrangements and playing inventively as well as passionately. In fact, it really is jazz with a dynamic orchestral sound, with a classic strength in which each musician is also a brilliant soloist.

Call it an ‘orchestrated passion for jazz’ that incites BJO to create world-class music. In addition to BJO’s own productions, they work with well-known musicians from all over the world. In that way, BJO has established a reputation at home and on relevant international jazz stages. Pianist Nathalie Loriers will definitely be part of the orchestra at the BJW Balcony Edition. Which other acclaimed musicians will join her on stage, is for you to discover.

Maison du Roi
Grand Place, 1000 Bruxelles
Brussels... the capital of Belgium and home to many European institutions. No wonder there's plenty to see and even more to do. The city's charm is made up of its diversity. Its many museums will unfold surrealism, comics, classic and modern art; a walk around the city will let you gaze at the many art nouveau buildings you'll come across. Not to mention the beauty of its Grand-Place. Feeling a bit peckish? Think of any type of cuisine, and you'll find it in Brussels. In short: a lively city in the heart of Europe that will steal your heart (if that's not yet the case).
