Laurent Doumont - Lionel Beuvens
Laurent Doumont is a saxophonist, singer and songwriter from Brussels with a natural inclination for soul and jazz. It shows in his work with a wide range of musicians such as Fred Wesley, Daniel Romeo, Marc Lelangue, Michel Hatzigeorgiou and many others. In this Balcony Edition, he reunites with his accomplice from the Papa Soul Talkin' project, drummer Lionel Beuvens. The duo will explore a rather jazzy repertoire, paying tribute to Sonny Rollins, Branford Marsalis and Eddie Harris, with some funky original compositions.
