2 Times Nothing
Rue Antoine Dansaert 6

2 Times Nothing is a Brussels band of five passionate young musicians who bring an eclectic mix of jazz and electronic music. They are strongly influenced by both jazz and modern club music. One moment they manage to get the audience very still and attentive with complex melodies and rhythms and the next moment the whole hall is dancing to electronic beats. In this way they strike a balance between the acoustic and the electronic.

One Frame Movement
Rue Des Pierres 50

Instrumental mood-hunting trio One Frame Movement draws from an abundance of backgrounds and influences to contrive colorful and progressive compositions, only to pull them apart again in improvisation and consternation. After writing live scores for silent movies (Kunstencentrum Buda) and contemporary dance performance (Onder Stroom), the trio gained support from Lefto and Klara Radio following the release of their first EP. With piano, keys, double bass and drums, One Frame Movement combines intricate melodic and rhythmic themes with lush harmonies, and an improvisational character.

M.Chuzi
Place Saint Géry 1

Groove machine M.CHUZI makes worldwise sauce based on hodgepodge à la bruxelloise. In 2018, the band was brought to its cooking point in a Brussels café, and since then M.CHUZI is overflowing of enthusiasm to bring taste to its surroundings. To spice it up. To develop a unique melting pot of afro grooves, funk, prog jazz and the spacy soundscape of a metropole. M.CHUZI smothers every stage with catchy musical experiment in an authentic fashion.

Aishinka
Mont des Arts 28

Brussels based musician Louise Andri has always been fascinated by the polyphonies of « The mystery of Bulgarian Voices ». Together with her accomplice Emmanuelle Duvillard, they launch the musical adventure Aishinka, which means « the evolution of love ». The two friends surround themselves with musicians of various profiles and origins, forming a hybrid project, between jazz and traditional music, classical and urban music. Aishinka was awarded the “B-Jazz International Contest 2019” and the “Maastricht Jazz Awards 2020”, which led them to perform on the great European stages.

Lũpḁ Gang Gang Quartet
Rue Léopold 2

The Lũpḁ Gang Gang Quartet is a group that tries to connect extremes. Starting from a jazz-funk perspective, they want to achieve some form of "eclectism". They pay little attention to the artificial borders and together they make a road trip through the still uninhabited no man's land. Their live reputation is still intact. They always manage to find the balance between calm atmospheres and wild explosions, but what matters most is the constant enthusiasm and indomitable energy that lies between these young musicians.

N∆BOU
Rue Des Pierres 110

N∆BOU is the musical project founded by Nabou Claerhout in 2016. The music of the band and their unique sound and use of the trombone are very different from what we hear nowadays. Besides the jazzy sound of J.J. Johnson, the fresh and funky power of Fred Wesley and the fusion of Robin Eubanks, the jazz audience doesn’t get to hear much other facets of the instrument these days. Especially on a European level, the window is open for a new generation of musicians. Thanks to their refreshing trombone sound, innovative effects and original approach of compositions, this young but very promising quartet is part of this current movement.
