Nathalie Loriers - Bert Joris - Sam Gerstmans

Pianist Nathalie Loriers is one of the leading ladies of Belgian jazz. She originally studied classical piano but it didn’t take long before jazz won over her heart.

It was clear from the start that she would become one of the most talented musicians of her generation and consequently, she won prizes from a very early age. She released her first album in 1991, and collaborated with legendary musicians like Lee Konitz, Toots Thielemans and Philip Catherine. In 1999 she won the prestigious Django d'Or and since then released some very successful albums, including 'Toumbuctou' (KLARA album of the year) and 'Moments d'Eternité'.

Together with trumpet virtuoso Bert Joris and bassist Sam Gerstmans she forms a top-class jazz trio.
